Activity Idea from the Church: Prophet on the Wall
For Helaman 13–16
Sing “Samuel Tells of Baby Jesus” (Children’s Songbook, 36).The prophet Samuel stood on a city wall and told everyone that Jesus would be born soon. People tried to hurt Samuel with stones and arrows, but he was protected. (See Helaman 13:2–4, 16:1–2.) Act out the story! Have someone stand on a chair and pretend to be Samuel. Everyone else could pretend to throw stones or shoot arrows. How would you feel to see a prophet protected by the Lord?
