Activity Idea: Translate This

In D&C 8:11 it says: “Ask that you may know the mysteries of God, and that you may ^atranslate and receive knowledge from all those ancient records which have been hid up, that are ^bsacred; and according to your faith shall it be done unto you.”

And in D&C 9 it talks about the work of translation.

It would be great to do a decoder and have the kids try and “translate.”

Activity Idea from the Church: Pray and Serve

• Sing “Search, Ponder, and Pray” (Children’s Songbook, 109).
• When we want to do good things, Heavenly Father will help us. We can ask Him who we can help, and He will answer (see Doctrine and Covenants 6:5, 8).
• Read “The Bread Loaf Prayer” on page 16. Then pray to know who you can help, and do something kind for them!
